This show can really, really nail it.
God, that lip liner. God, Adam and Jessa...

That was Bridget Everett as the make-up artist & stylist. She has been the finale performance each season of Inside Amy Schumer so far (with Beastie Boy Ad-Rock as one of her backup dancers). And Amy Schumer has been on two episodes of Girls. I love this! I mean, it's common to see the same NY male comedians show up in each other's stuff, but for some reason it's less common to see it with female comedians. But there's been nice crossover between Girls and Broad City and Amy Schumer over the last few years.

It was really cool and weird to see Adam Driver again post Star Wars. Remember when everyone complained how he would bring the awkward self obsessed emo damaged thing to Star Wars? And then he actually did and it was perfect?
Anyway, really great episode. There were moments where it seemed the whole thing would fall apart into tragedy but I'm glad it got pulled together in the end.

I loved this episode. The non-conversation between Adam and Fran was superb. I knew Ray would step in, it's so ... Ray.
All the girls were at their best. I love capable Jessa, even though we all know it won't be long until fucked-up Jessa emerges. Hopefully she doesn't drag Adam down with her. Shosh is perfect for Japan, and I hope we get to see some scenes of her in Tokyo.
And I really loved that Hannah was able to control her impulse to tell Marnie that, yes, she's making a terrible, awful, catastrophic mistake in marrying Desi. Maybe she's growing up at last (wishful thinking on my part, probably, Hannah's bound to flake out soon).

Is there really a Japanese TV show about pressing and folding laundry? I would watch the hell out of that.
