Oh, lordy. The procedural elements of this episode were terrible, so much cringe-inducing dialogue. Like someone trying to write how the 'cool kids' talk, with an extra helping of racism.

On the plus side, we finally got a glimpse of Maziken's true face. Not sure what I think about the Dr. Linda development -- glad if it means we could get more than one scene of her in an episode, but I don't think there's as much room for comedy in scenes with her & Amenadiel as there is with her & Lucifer, so, I hope it's not an either/or situation.

I go into this show understanding it's fluffy entertainment, so I really don't expect much from the cops-n-robbers side of the story. I liked this episode. We're finally getting some of Amenadiel's and Maze's plotting to get Lucifer back home where he belongs.

I do wish, though, that Ellis would tone-down the Lucifer-as-a-bubbly-gadfly thing. It's ok in places where it fits, but 24-7 is wearing on my nerves.

I kinda hated him this episode; he was really grating until the speech about him playing god/having some responsibility, where he did his "I've learned something" look and seemed to pull it in. Sooooo, I think it might have been an acting/script choice.

This was not as ridiculously silly as previous episodes. Kinda meh. But...Pig Daddy?! Lol.

Asian Boys is the laziest gang name ever.
