Bosch: Trunk Music

Bosch returns to his old job after a six-month suspension, makes a rewarding collar on his first day back, but then gets involved in a more complicated case.

Bosch is still mired in the investigation of the Raynard Waits fiasco, and even though some of his old enemies have moved on, he has no trouble making new ones. The episode hints at trouble to come involving Eleanor and Maddie.

I forgot how much I really love this series. I'm a huge fan of film and roman noir and this is really one of the only tv series I think really manages to capture the feel of the genre without feeling cliched. The music is so wonderful.

Loved his first bust back on the job; took an entire book to do what they did in the first 15 minutes of the show.
