It's probably a huge contradiction in tone but if Figgis turns out to be the Pontiac Bandit, I won't be mad.

I wonder how quickly this season's cliffhanger will be resolved, i.e. instantaneously as in the case of Jake's summer-hiatus undercover op between S01+S02, or if it'll be done over the course of the first 3-4 episodes of next season, as they did with Holt's transfer and the parade of replacement Captains this year.

I think the whole Texas prison/FBI break-in plotline may have been a test to see how far they can get away from the precinct and still call the show "Brooklyn Nine-Nine". At this point, it's not too far-fetched to say that the ensemble trumps the setting, so I'd be curious to see them spend a few episodes with Jake and Holt in FL, and have them gradually get the gang back together in a semi-organic way.

"I'm just really worried about Katherine Heigl and her dressmaking business! ...architecture firm? ...cupcake bakery! ...the magazine she edits?" (I initially thought she said "Captain Heigl", which would have been even better.)

I wonder whether it's Bob Annderson or Bob Andersonn.

Doug Judy is an unimpeachable saint of unassailable warmth and kindness. HOW DARE YOU, SIR.

I decided to interpret the 3 Ns remark to mean that it's was spelled Annndersonnn, more or less the way Hugo Weaving says it in The Matrix movies. But probably not.

Wikipedia and AV Club say Annderson, but IMDB says Anderson.

I think this is my favorite B99 season finale. There were tons of great bits, and Funky Cold Medina is a perfect capstone joke for the season.

Also, if we're floating wild theories about Figgis' identity, my guess is: Adrian Pimento. He secretly took over the syndicate while undercover and this whole thing has been an elaborate ruse to allow him to shed all ties to the NYPD.

(Also also, assuming Jake and Holt spend a few episodes in Florida next season the odds they run into Doug Judy are basically 1:1, right?)

I just want more Doug Judy in my life.

Stephanie Beatriz real voice.

I have never felt so strongly that an actor was playing her own evil twin.

I would love to have a whole season of the nine-nine in witness protection in Florida... My Blue Heaven style.

I'm really glad I stuck with this show to the end of the season. Earlier episodes has me questioning why I was still watching this but this arc has been very rewarding. If it keeps up like this I'll be back next season, which is something I couldn't have said a few weeks ago.

Agreed. I'll be honest, the early-to-middle portion of this season had me somewhat questioning my commitment to Sparkle Motion the show as well. The ensemble is always fun to watch and the joke-to-joke material always strong, but I felt like there were more than a couple of episodes where you could just do a little bit of creative Mad Libs with the scripts and end up with a structurally identical episode of basically any other Fox or NBC Thursday Night sitcom. But the whole Pimento/FBI arc has been so much fun, and just as importantly, something that only B99 could successfully pull off, that my faith in the creative staff is renewed. Bring on S04!

FUNKY COLD MEDINA.

Rosa's burner apartment, fake name, and being perky Emily to the landlord. Wow.

FUNKY COLD MEDINA, of course he knows what that is.

So did Amy follow Jake to Florida?

Seriously, the first episode next season better be a takeoff of "My Blue Heaven." I insist.

And then Pimento better not be Figgis or damn am I going to be pissed because it would break Diaz's heart and I love Diaz.
S 04 opens in fla, Figgis (who is actually 'the Vulture') gets caught, Pimento comes back and makes Diaz happy. I also love Pimento, I mean the actor who does Pimento. And Doug Judy - Doug Judy should be in every other episode.
They are really finding their groove. And luckily it's a funny groove.

I assume that the specific bit with the unexpected sniper red light thing coming through the window to land on Bob is partially a reference to that actor's turn in "24" and one of the more violent scenes within...
