It's an old story. Two people date, they break up, they both go on Tinder. And on Tinder, one of them stumbles across an incredibly creepy photo, taken inside the apartment they used to share. Super Tech Support to the rescue. Plus, the return of Yes Yes No.

What was the second reverse image search that actually worked? The one that wasn't tineye.

Probably Google?
Which is funny, because I generally find tineye to be more successful than Google when I do reverse searches.
I think it's really easy to project a personality on someone who you only see briefly in a customer service context.
Especially since people like baristas are generally in Customer Service Mode when you interact with them, which doesn't necessarily reflect their true personalities. I mean, I'm sure plenty of service workers are naturally pleasant and outgoing all the time, but any introvert who has worked retail/food service knows how to wear the mask.
I was on the side of the BF for being pretty annoyed that strangers were let into his space. The GF's behaviour seemed to catch everyone off-guard. She was Asky enough to make the request in the first place, and then disregarded her BF's concerns and just did the thing anyways.
I'm glad it worked out well in the end.

I loved the Yes Yes No this week - I was at "pretty much yes" but it was a fun ride to 100% yes. And then I got to share it with my wife when I realized she didn't get "mom"! (Thanks Lin-Manuel! Your Twitter is allowing me to keep up with some of the kids these days.)

Oh man, it was so great to go back to a regular episode again after the slog of the past four weeks. About 10 minutes in I just had the thought of "oh yeah, I actually like this podcast."

I guess I'm mostly an Old since I didn't know about "mom" or "drag him," but as a Gay I must must must clarify for PJ and the Alexes that "yas" is pronounced like "gas," not like "floss."

I don't know if you listen to every episode, but on the next podcast (#69) there's a really nice follow-up on "yas".

The barista thing reminded me of the Master of None episode where Dev asks a waitress at their local cafe to go to a concert with him, and she turns out to be crazy. I think it's really easy to project a personality on someone who you only see briefly in a customer service context. Same thing with celebrities. Obviously nothing bad happened with this barista, but the girl clearly didn't know her very well (the barista didn't even like dogs!).
