My Brother, My Brother And Me: MBMBaM 317: Jimmy Buffett's Betrayal-ville
August 23, 2016 11:09 AM - Subscribe

This is not the episode you want to listen to if you're hoping to renew your faith in humanity. Each of the boys lost something dear in the week leading up to this recording, but none so much as Justin, who lost the act of love itself. Suggested talking points: True LA Crime Stories, Good Trash, Porno Kite, Reconnoiter the Driveway, UNO Moriarty, The Worst Day of Justin's Life

Visual accompaniment for the end of the episode.

Also, the flood of responses to Griffin posting a picture of home-made garlic bread was amazing.

Pretty choice goofs in the porn kite discussion. I'm particularly fond of the concept of denying ownership of a kite because it's just too far away regardless of where the string goes.

I was just waiting for Justin to reveal that Jimmy Buffett had played a set at the restaurant that night.

i can't believe Griffin has been hiding that perfect Roger Klotz impression all these years.

I feel like this was a follow-up to the episode a few weeks ago when Justin was describing suddenly discovering that he had a perfect Ed Wynn impression. You just don't know what you can impersonate until you try.

I have this real and ever-present fear that after Griff and Travie have their babies, and they start shooting for Seeso, and Yahoo Answers finally goes to Internet Heaven, there will be no more time left for MBMBAM.

Just a feeling.

My concern is that their comedy turns to endless talk about domestic issues and being fathers. But, then, they are anarchic enough that I think I could stomach it.

I wouldn't mind it at all. I could listen to Justin's adventures in Joe's Crab Shack all day.

Also, if you haven't seen the picture of Justin in his Shrimpin' Ain't Easy bib: here you go.

Oh, I'm an idiot. I didn't see that kmz had posted the link to the photo in the first comment.

I had the same fear and then a few episodes ago, Griffin was like, "Is this dad-ass humor gonna be the only shit? Now?" And I laughed SUPER HARD, and realized that yes, it will be, and it will be GLORIOUS.
