BrainDead: The Path to War 2: The Impact of Propaganda on Congressional War Votes
August 30, 2016 11:11 AM - Season 1, Episode 10 - Subscribe

Laurel "helps" a fellow documentarian make a video about why we shouldn't start a a war with Syria (subtext: THERE'S BUGS IN YOUR BRAINS) while simultaneously freaking out Luke's wife Germaine about her soon-to-be-born baby.

So it looks like Germaine and Baby Grace are buggified, which really makes you wonder how Luke has escaped. I guess he doesn't sleep at home that much, though.

Okay so is the implication that the senator's constant philandering is the thing that keeps him from being bug infected? Either by virtue of not being around for Germaine to infect him or through the maybe-effect of illogical sexy self thoughts to repel the bugs? Otherwise, it's a weird focus for the show.

Also where the hell is Gustav?

Yeah, I'm fairly sure the Senator's bed-hopping is supposed to be what's protecting him from bug-dom, since presumably the bugs can't find him at night on a regular basis, and he broke it off with Scarlet, but it seems like a weird post-hoc justification. At this point, he's basically the Anthony Weiner of the Senate.

This damn show is so timely. Right after all that Weiner stuff on the news it was hard to watch this episode without thinking about that.

Man, poor Germaine and baby Grace... And now that she really doesn't wanna give him sexy time is when he'll try to stay home.

Gustav needs to fix his bug controller and get back in the show asap.
