This is the last episode the three of us had to record all in the same room, and boy, you can just hear the elation in our voices. Gaze into the mirror with us, as we peer into the Equestriverse and see which celebrities are trapped within!   Suggested talking points: Vape Update, Glass Half Full, Roller Coaster Health, A Little Bit of Bike Theft, The Horse World, Genuine Cheese Crust, Crumbsavers

Alright I know it's off topic from this episode, but who's all going to Candlenights? I know at least one other MeFite is going to be there but I'm curious to know if there's any more?

I attended their live show in Seattle last year and had an incredible time and I can't wait to make the pilgrimage to the home land.

I am! But you knew that, hee.

For the first time ever, they discussed last week's Final Yahoo! Except I think it was unintentional, they've just been so tired. But also it turns out Travis was maybe prescient??

Also, SNL next weekend is going to be amazing.

(I'm still sort of holding out hope that there'll be a surprise LMM appearance at Candlenights.)

If LMM showed up at CN I would literally die.

Jealous of any of you that go to Candlenights. I thought the brothers were going to pitch a site where you could decide which celebrity you were more likely to find in the horse world.

What are people's thoughts on the bike theft question? I was shocked they were as far on the "theft" side of the fence as they were. To me, if you leave your property unattended and unsecured in a public place, it becomes "lost/abandoned property" very quickly. I think you could say that a finder of lost property has some obligation to identify the rightful owner (which varies based on the value/importance of the property), but not a huge obligation. The one thing that is tilting it back to the side of theft, interestingly, is the kickstand. If it was just dropped on the ground it's a no-brainer for me - that's an abandoned bike - but the kickstand suggests someone at least plans to come back for it...

I almost always agree with the brothers on moral/ethical questions, so this one surprised me.

I'm currently prepping a Candle Nights Play List to introduce my wife to the show and I'm listening to episode 283, Building Bridges. It's the new year show, and they're all tossing out suggestions for the year's theme name.

Justin rolls out this one:

Twenty-sucks-teen: Let's just get through it.

That is so prescient as to be borderline terrifying.

I think with the bike, you've got to give the owner a chance to get it back.

I can't remember the details, but it sounded like it was up next to a sign or a fence, which is a pretty standard place to park a bike. I think a key detail is how rural the area is. If it's rural, I'd assume that bike has been abandoned. If it's suburban, then it's not supposed to be in your yard, but you have to check with folks in the neighborhood to see whose kid forgot it. If it's a city, it definitely belongs to someone in the building and absolutely doesn't belong to you and don't talk to anyone about it (but will probably get stolen by the end of the day so is a moot point then). In most places I'd lean on the "taking it is theft" side of the equation.

Oh yeah, for sure. And they had more shooting to do for the TV show right after too!
