Quick question - is anyone here not hate-watching this? I mean, anyone watching this for non-snark reasons? I feel like I should refrain from posting if anyone is watching this authentically.

I think the number of people watching it for any reason is pretty damned low at this point. It's lost at least half the viewers it had at its (disappointing) start.

I can't say it's a hate watch, but it's certainly not out of enjoyment. I just have so many questions...

Like, why did they leave the moon, again? And what about that has changed to enable them to return again? They haven't gained anything, and nothing is different on Attilan. It's just... pointless.

Losing Gorgon that way was stupid as well. Karnak knocked out Mordis once... why not do that again? But it does mean that Triton is actually dead, and not just squirreled away for the finale. Killing off two main royals also means they were never planning on a season two, which is both a shame and a relief. They could have done much more with these characters, but at least there's nothing worse they can do with them.

It feels like they've wrapped up all the random shit they did to pad it out from a movie to a miniseries event, for better or worse, but.. Ugh. Yeah. Everybody sucks, all the stories suck, who cares what they dropped on the floor to get here, how the fuck did this get greenlit?

And, I mean I say that as someone who liked Agents of Shield the whole way through, more or less. My standards for television are pretty easygoing, but somehow the Inhumans manages to be worse than Iron Fist.

I haven't watched any of this, but I'm enjoying the fanfare threads. Is there a particular episode so far that I chould watch to get the best taste of WTFness?

You could join us for the finale on Friday and get a taste of unspoiled WTF-ery — it’s not like there’s any way they’ll stick the landing and somehow put out the trash fire.

The pilot was probably the worst, since it was longer, and you watch it knowing that they actually put it on IMAX. But every episode has been bad in its own way, I think you could pick any at random and get something out of it.

Oops, sorry, paper chromatographologist, I thought tonight was the finale but it was only the penultimate. (I knew it was an 8-episode run, but I thought the premiere counted as 2.)
