This was one of the best episodes of the show for me. I'm not even sure I have anything coherent to say about it, particularly about how much Ilana's story resonated with me. Ending with the coven bonfire frolic in the park, and Abbi going to get her doctor and bring her into the circle, it was just perfect. Jane Curtin's witchy goodness. Ilana mouthing, "THOUSANDS" as she helps Abbi cover her gray. It was all so good.

Everything about this episode helped make up for the bit about the cat in 'Mushrooms'.

I don't know how well this episode would stand up without everything (all four seasons) that led up to it, but with them as a foundation? Incomparable.
