Cocktail. Weenie. I laughed my ass off. Ben is so quick and so goddamn funny.

I'm not a Trixie fan, but that meltdown was distressing to watch. I'm glad Shangela made the most fair choice on the boot (and the right choice strategically too, I think).

What a disappointing snatch game! I was ready for the All Stars to BRING IT and there were so many flops - Trixie's spot-on but boring RuPaul impersonation, Kennedy's housewife that started funny but deflated over time, Chi-Chi's painful "Mya" Angelou.

The fake-out in Shangela's elimination speech was so good, but her Game of Thrones analogy has gone wayyy too far.

God, it was a terribly dull Snatch Game. I expected so much more. Thank god for Kristen Chenoweth.

I am super sad to see Chi-Chi go, but she didn't seem like she was going to rally and I'm glad to avoid another Roxxxy-Andrews-saved-way-too-many-times situation.

100% ready for a Shangela win.

I too love ChiChi but she needed to really step up this time, and her choice of Maya Angelou was odd, and the performance was just sad. It was time. I have to say, Dela’s Paul Lynde was really great, but it was a pretty uneven outing overall for Snatch Game. The lip sync was great, though. Shangela’s talking heads are the best thing about this season, and I don’t even mind the GoT analogies. #TeamShangela

I love ChiChi too but I realized that he seems like this friend who you really love but then you just have to tolerate his drag and then I remembered I went through this exact path with him during his season but forgot because I was so excited for him to come back for All-Stars.

I hope Shangela is getting a producer credit for all the drama set-ups and near-perfect talking heads segments.

I respect Trixie's talents, but I found her grating once again this episode. First of all, her complaining about Milk getting sent home as though it was purely personal (news flash, she had a disastrous week and had to get herself to the bottom to be up for elimination!) Next came her gaslighting bullshit with Shangela, OH PUH-LEEZE, do not pretend Shangela is crazy for taking offense at that shit!

Having not seen Bebe's season, from the very first episode of AS3 when I saw how she carried herself, I thought "I hope she does a Grace Jones sometime this season." And she was bizarre and mysterious in Snatch Game (I was hoping for more, but she was still enjoyable).

If there were a modern-day Hollywood Squares, Carson would definitely be in there. OH MY GOD WHAT IF RUPAUL DID A HOLLYWOOD SQUARES REBOOT

When I saw Kristin Chenowith up there my initial reaction was "Holy shit, that's a spot-on Kristin Chenowith. Who the hell is that?"

Nicole Byer! I love Nicole Byer! Yay!

The top two were a no-brainer to me. Ben was obviously a delight, which is really no surprise, and Shangela was amaaaaazing as Jenifer Lewis. THE LIPSYNC WAS SO GOOOOOD! So, so good! And when Ru said they both won, my wife and I shouted, "Oh yay!" then almost in unison, as the implications dawned on us: "Oh, NO."

Chi Chi needed a mercy killing, good GOD. Mya Angelou?? I love Chi Chi so so so much and I was so looking forward to her this season, but whatever this is--she's in her head or SOMETHING, and I feel like she's been pleading to be sent home for a couple of episodes now. It looked like she was relieved.

It was the right choice. (Also, Shangela was clearly toying with Trixie when presenting her decision--heh.)

All in all, not a very strong Snatch Game, but still some nice moments in this episode, and one of the best lipsyncs we've been treated to in Drag Race herstory IMO.

For reference, if you watch only one Jenifer Lewis video, do yourself a favor and make it this one.

WELL, I THOUGHT AJA'S CRYSTAL LABEIJA LOOK WAS BEAUTIFUL, DARLING, AND SHOULD HAVE GOT MUCH MORE ATTENTION ON SNATCH GAME, BUT THE JUDGES DIDN'T HAVE ANY TASTE! LOOK AT TRIXIE'S OUTFIT! DON'T BOTHER HER, DON'T BOTHER HER- IT'S NOT TRIXIE'S FAULT! AND I DON'T SAY THAT TRIXIE'S NOT BEAUTIFUL, BUT SHE WASN'T LOOKING BEAUTIFUL TONIGHT! LOOK AT HER MAKEUP! IT'S TERRIBLE! MONIQUE TOLD ME NOT TO COME- THAT'S WHY SHE'S NOT HERE IN DRAG TONIGHT! AND THAT'S WHY ALL THE TRUE BEAUTIES DIDN'T COME!

I hope Shangela wins and I'm rooting for her, and the note was in poor taste. I lol'd to find out that Bendela apparently said Thorgy had "difficult energy." So tactfully shady and accurate! BUT, I think Shangela had at most a 30-70 ratio of actually being offended vs. fucking with Trixie to put her on the defensive. Shangela attacks with strategy, remember? I mean, look at that elimination speech. She's a messy bench who loves drama. She's also no dummy: if there's a RuTurn episode, Trixie would have a high chance of coming back to eliminate her, and on top of that a potentially strong competitor now kind of owes her one.

The editing of #notegate was also broken up suspiciously in the middle which I suspect sucked some context into the ether. I mean I could be wrong, but Trixie saying "I don't care what you think" right after the cutaway made me immediately think they snipped Shangela saying something like "I think you put this here on purpose because that's what you think of me too" -- it's just kind of a non-sequitur otherwise.

Aja continues to bat way above her main-season weight here and I was living for how much she was enjoying all the drama. I'm bummed Trixie fucked it up though, I'm hoping this is the beginning of a redemption edit for her so she at least goes out on a high note.

Bendela killed it in the challenge and I was living for her going over-the-top with the sexually aggressive cougar bit in the lip sync. I was a little worried that this would finally cross the boy drag line that Alaska wandered over in Season 5 but apparently that's cancelled, which is good because her performance was really uncanny. I looked up some Paul Lynde bits in advance of the show and wow, what a transformation on Dela's part. A well-deserved 2x Snatch Game winner.

I still adore Chi Chi, but it was definitely time for her to go. I still want Trixie to win, but it is really at the moment a two person race between BenDLC and Shangela. This is RPDR though and things have a way of being shaken up.

BenDLC doing Paul Lynde killed me it was so funny. I also think Aja's Crystal was not given the attention it was due - she did a fantastic job.

Late to the party - was with family last week and couldn’t grab any time to watch. Or should I say...snatch any time to watch??

Aaaaanyway. Oh lord. This was my first experience with Snatch Game - oooof. I loved DeLa, Aja, and Shangela. But good god I was watching everyone else through my fingers! ChiChi and Trixie more than the others. What a mess. I am given to understand overall this challenge is usually highly anticipated and a lot of fun?

Runway...I agreed with Carson’s “arts and crafts” assessment of Kennedy’s runway look - first thing I thought. But I loved Trixie’s look! I hadn’t come into this is a major Trixie fan, but I find myself wanting her to do better! Get out of your head, Trixie, you’re funnier than this. Had her Ru not been such a disaster, she would have at least been safe like Aja.

As for safe queens, well, I am leaning more and more towards some kind of Bebe conspiracy theory, I tell you what.

DeLa...I adore her. That said, she is kind of getting lost in her own head with the elimination dilemma. I worry. But the lip sync was a ROMP. Not my favorite song but they really made it fun!

In the end, it was ChiChi’s time...and as mean as it really kind of was, Shangela’s fucking with Trixie’s head at elimination was amaaaaazing. I thought Trixie was going to pass out when the lipstick didn’t have her name on it.

Next episode looks exciting but I am really starting to stress out! DeLa, what will you do if you win AGAIN? I’m clutching at my pearls.

Yes, but mostly because some folks rise to the occasion brilliantly and some folks crash and burn. Because of its placement at just about the halfway point in most seasons, Snatch Game is generally understood to be the challenge that sorts the front runners from the remaining cannon fodder.

If I remember correctly, there also didn't used to be so many acting/improv challenges early on in the seasons--way more photo and costume construction challenges--so Snatch Game was sometimes the first opportunity for witty queens to show off their strongest skills.
