A service that provides holographic recreations of deceased loved ones allows a woman to come face-to-face with the younger version of her late husband.

This near-future story is based on a Pulitzer-nominated play, and looks at themes of memory and family history changing in the telling and retelling. Lois Smith, who plays Marjorie, got a best supporting actress nomination for this at the Indie Spirit Awards.

This was one of the features at the 24 hour movie marathon that caps the Boston Science Fiction Film Festival. I hadn't heard of it before, but it appears to be on Amazon Prime.
