I dunno-this one was just OK for me. Lots of quips and giggles, but not much substance.

I liked it. I enjoy the story, but (a) my favourite part of RPGs is world building and (b) part of what I like about TAZ is hearing them just pleasing themselves. A big part of what I like about listening to people game is hearing people having fun. When the dramatic stakes are higher, the fun the players are having has to take a backseat (in the edit even if not in the recording), and that's fine, but I also like episodes where there's less urgency in the session, so there's room for them to have fun and leave it in the final edit.

It was the equivalent of the Lunar Interlude eps from the Balance arc, magic artifacts from cat creature and all, and I can see how those might feel a little less weighty than the monster fighting.

In all of Lady Flame’s wanting to touch the crystal, all I could think of was Travis’ ”Let me touch it” face from when they were on @midnight.

It would have been pretty if Garfield showed up again though.

This was one of my favorite Amnesty episodes so far. I love how we are seeing Duck very gradually start to enjoy the idea of being a chosen one. Like, he instinctively picks a jetpack, and then immediately regrets it because it doesn't fit in to the by-the-book park ranger persona (facade?) he has built for himself.

I think they are just starting to feel at home in the characters and the setting, and it shows in the fun they are having in the episodes.

Agreed with Rock Steady. I'm especially liking how Ned is playing out. As much as I love Merle, it feels like Clint just has a much better handle on Ned, and that shines through in episodes like this.
