Seven years ago, Archer did something weird: Starting in September 2011, the show kicked off its third season by ditching all of its spy series trappings and general James Bond spoofery—ostensibly the stuff that sold it to fans in the first place—in favor of sending its heroes off on a strange, sprawling, off-model island adventure. The lessons learned from “Heart Of Archness”—which turned out to be three of the best episodes the show would ever unleash—have been easy to track as the show has developed and mutated over the years, and creator Adam Reed has grown ever-more comfortable (too comfortable, to some minds) with the idea that “Archer” is simply whatever this batch of characters, actors, and animators feel like doing at the moment.Archer Review: Some Remarks on Cannibalism (Season 9 Episode 6) (Candice Horde for Tell Tale TV)
On Archer Season 9 Episode 6, Archer and Pam escape from the cannibals while Ray, Lana, Malory, and Charlotte follow right on their heels.
This episode doesn’t focus much on Fuchs and his gun-happy german soldiers, and I actually think the episode was the better for it.
Reed has written Cyril to be a much flatter character than he usually is, as I touch on in my review of Archer Season 1 Episode 4. Because Cyril is stereotypically the villain this season with no particularly redeeming qualities, focusing on him has become incredibly boring.
Unless it’s a fight scene between Archer and Cyril, Archer: Danger Island can keep Cyril in the background.
Yup, looks like he was only on those three episodes of Archer in 2011, then now in 2018.

What I don't get is why he is back as Noah instead of a slightly different character with the same personality. Can't remember them doing that before either this season or last, since we've been in Archer's dreams. Maybe Slater is next, wearing that same T-shirt he always wears.

"Master Coconut!" "Nobody gets that!"
Solid Frisky Dingo Master Cylinder reference, and right after a "kakow!"

Has it really been so long since we've seen Noah? I'd swear he's shown up since.
