Suits: The Shelf Life
October 10, 2018 2:39 AM - Season 1, Episode 10 - Subscribe
Harvey must fire an accountant for falsifying his credentials, but Mike finds a more sinister motive for his termination and becomes concerned about his own employment. Meanwhile, Louis thinks he's found his future wife. [IMDB]
Oh also why did Mike stand in the group class photo? WHY? Nobody would have known he was missing because, duh, he wasn't a student. All it did was create a situation where people realise they don't know him. Stupid.

Rants
- No Donna in this episode. WTF.
- I kept waiting for Mike to cheer up the fired CPA and suggest he should go write the great American nerd baseball book. Was that only obvious to me?
- Rachel kissing Mike for like, no reason. She says something about his amazing mind after being his personal dictaphone for hours. Lame. Harvey just chastised Mike for being too empathetic. Something around that would have made more sense.
- Jenny swoons at Mike saying he'd pick her as his date to some Harvard mixer? Please. Also, petty theiving stealing the guy's work pass?
- Mike uses the work pass to BREAK IN? The whole reason he decided to go to the mixer is because lawyers like to "drink and talk" so I assumed when Jenny gave him the stolen (!!) pass he would return it saying he found it in the bathroom or something and use that as an excuse to talk to the rival lawyer. But no, let's just commit a crime instead. Idiot.
- Jessica tells Harvey to drop it after he gives her some pretty compelling evidence that their accountant is stealing from them? What? That's not Jessica.
- Louis' date simpering how she loves how Louis is a lawyer. And then she purrs she would love to see his office. I was getting some pretty obvious "let's have sex in your office" vibes with that. But then they're caught on video with her walloping him, presumably after he suggests they have sex in the office or something like that. It just... didn't really make sense to me?
- NO DONNA?! What. The. Fuck. Suits. I feel like basically all the women were poorly written in this episode which is really against my experience of the last 9 episodes. Please be better, Episode 11.
My One Rave
- Louis has a picture of himself on his desk. AND HIS CREDENZA. So basically whichever way he sits at his desk he can see a full length posed picture of himself, by himself. Delightful.
