Gaslit Nation with Andrea Chalupa and Sarah Kendzior: All Episodes

Gaslit Nation, hosted by writers Sarah Kendzior and Andrea Chalupa, experts on authoritarian states who warned America about election hacking before the 2016 election. Here, they take a deep dive on the news, skipping outrage to deliver analysis, history, context, and sharp insight on global affairs. "For anyone who was following along with news of Trump’s business practices and Paul Manafort’s history with Russian oligarchs, it was pretty clear that there was reason for concern, which made the yawns of cable news and mainstream media all the more infuriating. If you were one of the people following along, this podcast might not make you feel better about our current predicament, but it will make you feel heard." --Dennis DiClaudio, AV Club (Patreon here.)

I love Sarah Kendzior. The anger in her voice, especially when she's on tv, really speaks to me. She scares the shit out of me, though. I have this podcast in my feed but I can rarely listen to it. Only when I'm ready to definitely cry and have a few sleepless nights.

I love them, but it's really just a recap of the Neverending-Omni-Politics thread, although in historical context the first 3 episodes will form the basis of the definitive record of all this insane shit.

Hm, beg to differ: her/their clarity is always combined with steeling, empathetic notes and tips. The very format, as an empassioned conversation between two people who have found each other, and are braving a journey together and fearless, sets a pretty amazing example, imho. Especially in the more current episodes, they're developing into a kind of vademecum, I find.
