The Walking Dead: Guardians

While one community struggles to ease tensions that threaten to divide from within, the true nature of another group comes into focus. A mission to rescue a friend has deadly consequences.

The Whisperers Camp doesn't seem like a lot of fun, with the face harvesting and psychopathic leader. They almost bring Henry to a merciful end (as any end would be at this point), but Darryl and Connie pull their own herd-steering move to cause problems at the camp and get Lydia and Henry to run away again.

Michonne finally loosens her grip as God-king of Alexandria, letting the council have its way in sending people to Ye Olde Faire. Negan talks her into it, sort of.

And the Gabriel-Siddiq-Eugene-Rosita love quadrangle continues to tumble along. (I continue to be more invested in the Darryl and Dog relationship.)

How long will we have to wait until Lydia does something with that yo-yo string that she pocketed?

Not the best episode, but I’m always delighted to see Australian actor Angus Sampson pop up (as Ozzy the Surprisingly Amiable Highwayman).

Also, how did we get from ‘sure, you can blend in with the zombies, but you’ll have to cover yourself with large quantities of toxic, putrefying zombie guts’ to ‘oh, just slap on a leathery mask, you’ll be fine’?
