Several different versions of Mad Sweeney's history are revealed. Bilquis is now a pastor at Ibis and Jacquel's funeral parlor. Laura is given advice by Mama Ji. Sweeney confesses both his and Wednesday's role in Laura's death.

Loved this. The idea that Sweeney is who he is is delightful, implicit in the original text, and well-borne here.

I am never sure I like this show, and the reason is solely because the modern god villains are so weak. Then they do a whole episode like this one without them and it's just amazing.

I'm not sure my wife will like this show, but I may try her on it and see if we can get past season one. (That season one ending was not very good at all.)
