Archer finally does a Star War(s episode) (TV/AV Club review, with good critiques on the inconsistent character traits this season, but giving the episode a B+)

We watched this episode off the DVR, and then happened upon S4E3, "Legs", which admittedly is peak Archer, but I was struck on how Adam Reed is so clever with interweaving the plots together mid conversation. Seeing the episodes both back to back really illustrated in how this season is really lacking in the clever jump cuts. I was also hoping for a "m is for Mancy" callback, but didn't get it :/
I can't believe there are 10 seasons!

Weird -- I also just watched those two episodes back-to-back. I'm watching the older episodes with my kids, as they were too young the first time I watched them (and are still too young, whatever, report me) and that's the episode we'd made it up to.

It finally happened, after all these years: I watched a movie starring Judy Greer (the recent Halloween) and could not not hear her as Carol/Cheryl.
How is Mother drinking all the space booze if she's just a hologram?

I have to admit the current season is significantly sparser in some of the elements that really made the show. Jump cuts require characters to be in different places, which has less opportunities to happen in a confined space like a ship. But still, I miss them.
