Castlevania: Season 3

Trevor and Sypha visit a town; Alucard makes new friends; Isaac goes on a trip; Hector moves in with Carmilla.
Yes! I feel like this was absolutely masterful fucking storytelling, the whole way through. You can see the betrayals building every step of the way, the show tells you with characterization and trope-use, "This is going to happen," and it's compelling to watch and see when and how it happens.
I loved the color palette on the Infinite Corridor + visitor magic, weird/terrifying/eldritch, along with the sounds.
Also, episode 9 should be called "Sexandviolence and Violence".

I quite enjoyed the Belmont storyline, but aside from Alucard's little figurines, I wasn't a fan of his.

At the end of season one I thought, "This has really been a complete and satisfying storyline, and I don't see where they are going to go from here and not have it feel like something just tacked on to the end and not very relevant."
Then, at the end of season two I thought, "This has really been a complete and satisfying storyline, and I don't see where they are going to go from here and not have it feel like something just tacked on to the end and not very relevant."
I guess now, I'm convinced this could probably go on forever and I will still love it.

I was pointed to S3 by a Lovecraft group, looking for cosmic horror, and was not disappointed. Well done.

I vaguely remember enjoying the first season of this, don't remember if I finished the second (so I can't have thought it that great), and really enjoyed season three.
