Last Week Tonight with John Oliver: One America News Network
April 6, 2020 10:31 PM - Season 7, Episode 7 - Subscribe

This week... although this is another episode coming to us from the Blank White Void of Sad Facts, the main story is not the Coronavirus, although it, and the Trump administration's continued bungling of the response to it, does lead. And Now: Are You Wearing Pants? The main story is on OAN, "One America News," aka "Fox News with even less shame and even fewer scruples."

Jared Kuschner: "A man who looks less like someone who could handle a global pandemic, and more like an alt-right Pinocchio."
Alabama: "A state whose flag says, 'We're working on it,' whose seal says, 'This is where Alabama is,' and whose state facts page on 50states.com is just, and this is true, fifty facts about Indiana." (Still true as of this writing.)
Florida Governor Ron DeSantis: "What you'd get if a sexual harassment allegation fucked a Toyota Camry."
OAN Founder Robert Herring: "Conservative millionaire and sun-dried Jake Gyllenhaal."
OAN "Ledger Report" host Graham Ledger: "The Noel Coward of meat sandwich-based race baiting."

F.37: "Musica Fountainus," ADAM SCHLESINGER

Anyone know where I can watch this in the UK? The YouTube link above is region blocked and Sky Atlantic no longer seems to be airing the show.

....Forgive me, but it looks like every state's entry on 50states.com is just a list of facts about that state. What is it I'm missing?

It wasn’t Indiana’s state page!

It has moved to Sky Comedy, and is also available on Now TV

Thanks, Law of Demeter. It was the switch to Sky Comedy that fooled me.

I hadn't noticed it myself, but on comedian Twitter Oliver is getting mad respect for being able to deliver without an audience.

EmpressCallipygos: The page for Alabama, is facts about Indiana rather than facts about Alabama.

Sadly, I was hoping that it was an additional 50 facts about Indiana which weren't listed on the Indiana page. But at first glance, it appears to be the same Indiana page.

He was recently interviewed by Stephen Colbert, and explained that this was thanks to being on the UK stand-up circuit. It’s fairly brutal compared to US improv, apparently. No audience is better than one that’s heckling you, after all.
