Special Event: Blaseball Coffee Cup

I don't quite understand what's been going on during the extended siesta, but soon a mid-siesta Coffee Cup tournament will be held on the Blaseball site. It seems like a one-off All-Star + special guests tournament, with 16 brand-new teams.

There was a trial of some sort as well, but I didn't quite understand that either. Not entirely understanding what's going on is part of the fun, of course.

If my math is correct, the tournament begins at 5 PM EST today and apparently they're going to do this every Tuesday during Siestas (at least the planned ones).

A one-off is a probably a good idea to keep people's interest during the extended siesta. I hope all (or at least a lot of) the fans they got during the first session come back…

I woke up feeling kinda tired today and then remembered there was blaseball and GOT PUMPED

I don’t know what to do about a team so I’ll just watch them all.

My first favorites, BC Noir, swept out! Let's see how [FOGHORN SOUND] do.

I like the tired/wired mechanic. Unfortunately I'm definitely more on the tired end of that so I don't know if I'll make it to the championships tonight.
