That FPP is linking to an article about the book. I'd love to hear Fanfare style discussion about the book itself, but I don't know what the rules or traditions are for book Fanfare posts, not if there's any interest.

You should make the thread! It’s what Fanfare is for, and I’d participate in the discussion at least.

I love KSR, I don't know when I am going to have time to read this one but I would try to contribute to a fanfare thread.
