I Think You Should Leave with Tim Robinson: Season 2
July 12, 2021 5:02 PM - Season 2 (Full Season) - Subscribe
There is no such thing as an ordinary interaction in this offbeat sketch comedy series that features a deep roster of guest stars. Created by Zach Kanin and Tim Robinson.
There are some decent chuckles in here, but nothing approaching the heights of The Day The Skeletons Came To Life and such. If anything, a lot of this season seemed a bit formulaic.

Yeah, FatherDagon, I do think there's a specific formula (annoying guy is annoying; volume of annoyingness is steadily turned up to 100) that a lot of the sketches follow. However I did enjoy quite a few of Season 2 sketches, including the Episode 1 Sketch 1 (hotdog in sleeve), Haunted House sketch, Calico Cut Pants sketch, and the Patti Harrison "TABLES!" sketch. The Calico Cut Pants sketch for example seems like a typical "annoying guy is annoying" sketch but then turns into a weirder, darker one. And Patti Harrison is just incredible.

I think this season is every bit as good as S1. Karl Havok, DAN FLASHES, Tables, Capital Room (or whatever it's called), the hat in the courtroom (my God, that had me laughing so hard), Tammy Craps...i mean that's 60% of the season I guess but those were all so funny. This season had a twinge of sadness/darkness that was a little off putting at first but made for a much funnier re watch.

I found this season to be kind of a "cosmic gumbo". We were joking about it a lot on set, how it was a cosmic gumbo.

Vulture went behind the scenes for Corncob TV's "Coffin Flops".

Some of the skits, I enjoyed: the odinkirk cameo at the ice cream shop while he's out to eat;
but others (guy yelling obscenities during the ghost tour; professor taking his former student's meal) were a bit of the 'look how much of an asshole this person' is, like how rogerroger stated.
The line stealing one, I enjoyed, that could of used a bit more development and would have liked to see that go further.
