It's always weird to me when Poirot does his own skullduggery. While he's certainly no Nero Wolfe, seeing him have to use his agility always seems so out of character. I thought the cheap flat trick was interesting, I will say Poirot's bank account always seems to grow or expand as needed for the plot. Taking on a whole flat just to investigate seemed like a lot of outlay, I wounder if he could get reimbursed for counter-espionage, and how long the terms were on the lease.

I thought I recognized Samantha Bond (probably best known as Aunt Rosamond on Downton Abbey) as Mrs. Robinson, and I did indeed. I knew her more by her voice than her face.
