Bryan Danielson continues to be the best in the business — what makes this new “heel turn” against Hangman so great is that it’s not really a turn at all. He was cocky and self-assured the moment he came into AEW, but he was treated like a face because he was up against more obvious heels.

Now part of the mask drops: Danielson believes he’s a superior wrestler above everyone else. Just because that might be true doesn’t make him not a heel.

Also I thought it was amazing how Danielson insulted Page by talking about how he wrestled the day after winning the HWC at Wrestlemania 30 — he got the crowd to boo his own WM main event! One of the greatest in WWE history! I think this was the first direct mention of WWE on AEW, or at least the first in a long while.

Slightly disappointed that Jay Lethal is the first evacuee from Ring of Honor to debut on Dynamite. I’m holding out hope that Dalton Castle will still arrive here with his gimmick intact.
