As to the locations, the Adelphi, the hotel where the Count requests a suite, is an office building but before that it was 18th c terraced housing, demolished in 1936 when the current building was built. Not sure what year this episode was taking place.
DuCane Court where father and daughter lived is a massive apartment block also built around that time. The gorgeous wood paneled interior was probably a set.
