Whose kids got this made? I'm not familiar with the story behind the production.
Jesus gawd, this was a rough watch during COVID.
Sorry kids, you have done nothing wrong, but we're all going to die because of this biological event and there's nothing anyone can do.

She’s the mother of three of the actors.
Most of her previous film experience was as clapper/loader, despite what Wikipedia says.
Of course, Trudie Styler as producer isn’t exactly a plus.

This was actually made (mostly) before COVID, and while it is going to be judged as part of this time (and is horrifying in that lens) it was likely intended as an allegory about climate change, and how the rich look out for themselves, parents keep their minds on their own needs instead of those of their kids, and how maybe there could be an escape plan were people of privilege not such narcissists.
I think it's maybe okay to not bad as that movie. But the way it made me ruminate on what a burden it would be to have to shepherd my kid to their death... that was an unintended reading that was grim and hard to take.

My wife and are are happily child-free and thought this was hilarious! The only bit we didn’t like was the stabbing.
