Something like Notting Hill by way of You're the Worst. Essentially a romcom about prickly and messy people who wouldn't seem to fit into the genre. Jessie (DiMatafeo) is a singular comedic creation, exasperating and irresistible in equal measure.

I thought this was so lovely. It’s the thing I currently try to make everyone watch. Only 6 short episodes! You can knock it out in an afternoon!

This was delightful from beginning to end. I loved it. That last silent scene in the bus was just fantastic. (Also, I think it's just Rose Matafeo, I'm not seeing "Di" anywhere else online.) But thank you, DirtyOldTown, I would never have found this show without your Fanfare post. I'm excited for season two whenever it comes. I hope we see a bit more of Tom in future series.

Just finished this and man was it delightful. A romcom but with reasonable gender politics.
