Way to mess up title searches, guys. Why not just call it FD 4?

I think I've seen four of these but they really do all blur together.

Is this the one where the tire sailing through the air lands on someone? That is one of the more memorable deaths.

Though I think my favorite FD death is when the gym bro gets his head squished by weights. I like the ones where the tease is not really about ridiculous peril teases and misdirection (though those are funny too) but they ratchet up tension through other methods like the clattering of gym equipment and the awfulness of dude bros, then deliver a sharp horrifying punchline.

I think my favorite teasy teasy one is the hair salon (?) where it ends up being a lawnmower across the street that causes the death.

The lawnmower one got me too. I was once hit by a much smaller pebble from a lawnmower and it still took a chunk from my leg as it passed. [shudders]

Oh, I've heard good things about this over the years! So glad it's on Netflix. I'll be back!

The FD movies are like going to a bowling alley that has a really good chili dog that's just not the same anywhere else.

SO is telling me we thought FD2 was the best by far, cannot confirm or deny.

lol, I started watching this thinking it was 'Final Destination' (2000) but it was 'The Final Destination' (2009) (aka 'Final Destination 4').

Transposed from the other thread:

I would have never thought I'd be into this, so thanks for posting the franchise DoT!

I love the "artificial" (or should that be "artful" ?) tension building, and the gore effects are fun.

Very much a comedy, rather than the [Horror] [Thriller] tags on IMDB. (and yeah, it still doesn't have a [Commedy] tag, just an [Action] in 2009)

Double-blinded/ placebo-controlled, I enjoyed the heck out of this.

So, double thanks, DoT!
