Punk's T-shirt game is always on point, but tonight the short says "Abortion Rights Are Human Rights"... at a Texas venue.

Page vs. Takeshita is a great match, despite having been champ for a while every match Page has is booked like a hard-fought victory, no certainties. I hope other NJPW folks are watching and saying "Hey, that should be me out there."

I don’t think AEW is quite at the point where both jokers should lose, even to a reigning titleholder and one of the faces of their division. If you’re bringing in Super Secret Famous People, having them get splatted in the first round is a very “We’re better than everyone!” move.

Rampage did a lot to advance the women's division, between the Britt Baker/Toni Storm promo, plus the big confrontations involving Jade Cargill, Red Velvet, Kris Statlander, Ruby Soho and now Anna Jay that advances in several directions. It's smart that the women's side of the Owen Hart tournament is always keeping within sight of the TBS title... plus this match made Kris Stat look like a damned Amazon, my goodness.

Less happy with what's going on with the TNT title: I maintain that the real heelish thing Sammy Guevara and Tay Conti are doing are 1) being two cocky young wrestlers who are super into each other and 2) having lots of PDAs. There's an alternate universe where this didn't have to be a heel turn for them, especially since Scorpio is also trying to be a heel and the crowd reactions seems caught betwixt and between. I hope by the end of Double Or Nothing this ought to be straightened out.
