A promising up-and-coming country duo (Abby Quinn, Alexxis Lemire) seek out the secluded mansion of their idol Harper Dutch (Katey Sagal) a former country music star and Nashville royalty turned recluse. What starts out as a friendly visit devolves into a twisted series of horrors forcing the friends to confront the lengths they will go to realize their dreams.

While I am curious about this, I am not yet spend 6 dollars to rent it curious about it. Hopefully it will make it to at least one of my streaming services eventually.

Yeah. I was like, "What the hell -- this isn't on Shudder?" The last time I had Epix was when Dominos Pizza gave me a month of it free for some reason. So.

Wife put this on the other day. It was fun and Katey Sagal was having a blast, but I really feel like it needed to buy into it's campiness a bit more.

This is a pretty well made and acted country music take on All About Eve . Fun flick for us, but your rating may vary depending on your tolerance for country music and your level of enthusiasm for showbiz backstabbing melodrama.

Good ending, really twisting the knife on how men in the music industry exploit women.
