Had no idea they had to recruit the PM to be the divorce moderator.

The last scene between C&D does come off as a two hander wishful thinking one act play, all right. I find it hard to imagine she'd be cooking him an omelet and whatnot, but it was interesting.

And yet, just another couple divorcing in court, like everyone else.

Interesting how Camilla couldn't say the Q-word--I wouldn't have the nerve either.

I liked the comparisons to all the other English couples that had to have counselling and then have their divorce presided on by a judge. This was one of the smarter writing choices Morgan made this season. (England didn't have no-fault divorce until recently, so the practice of fronting up in front of a judge to ask for a divorce is pretty recent, even though this ep is set 25 years ago.)

I think Major's role in this capacity was (almost) totally fabricated by the show.
