This seemed like it got less release fanfare from Amazon this season, so you might have missed that it came out, like I did. So far it seems like it's a much more straightforward story than the first season - here's Meyer cleaning up people who might be able to out his true identity, here's the remaining Hunters tracking down Hitler annnnnnnd go.

Yeah, it didn't have the "omph" the first season had - very straightforward and linear. But, the last 2 episodes were top-notch.

Even loved the dig about how in the future we will have to fight Nazi's across even new forms of media - and pretty sure at least another fairly obvious dig at... t(R)ump. (Can't remember it exactly, it's been a couple weeks now since I binged the series)

Man, that second to last episode, I don't know what was up with that. And then the last episode's postfix just kind of went on and on and on. It feels like structurally they realized they were going to catch Hitler too soon, but couldn't quite drag out a trial for 2 episodes, and the postfix would have been an unsatisfying series finale on its own, sooo let's combine those to make the trial a slightly long episode and bring in an episode around weird Jojo Rabbit and Inglourious Basterds resistance themes? I mean, it was interesting, I just don't know what it had to do with anything else that was going on. I just looked and it wasn't something like "oh yeah that explains how Zev (who we've been seeing all along) knows how to cook up these wonderful traps", either.

Weird. Just weird.
