TLDR: #44 - Prostitute Laundry
February 2, 2015 8:37 PM - Subscribe

Charlotte Shane writes a TinyLetter called Prostitute Laundry, writing frankly and lyrically about her feelings, her relationships, her body and her sex lives -- both personal and professional. This week TLDR looks into women writing personal, voice-driven newsletters, sitting down with Charlotte, as well as writer Meaghan O'Connell, to talk about the kind of writing that you want delivered straight to your inbox.

It never occurred to me that an email newsletter would be the perfect way to avoid trolls....

It's a great idea bq.

And I keep being amazed week after week about the stories they're putting on TLDR now being so focussed on (for a lack of a better vocabulary) female corners of the internet. It's great!

For me, this is the first episode of TL;DR post PJ-and-Alex where my response was yes, Meredith Haggerty, you are TL;DR. It was fascinating, and felt like Haggerty's hit her stride with her editorial voice. I'm looking forward to the next one.
