I Think You Should Leave with Tim Robinson: Triples Is Best
June 13, 2023 1:05 PM - Season 3 (Full Season) - Subscribe

Ronnie's just here for the zipline in this third season of the offbeat sketch comedy starring Tim Robinson.

"This latest season might be a bit of a step back from the hilarity of the first 12 episodes, but it is still funnier than just about any sketch series out there." -- Patrick Cavanaugh, ComicBook.com

"If you’ve seen the last two seasons, you may think you know the direction many of these sketches will take (people end up loving behavior you expect will annoy or disgust them), and some setups do feel familiar, but the show still finds new twists on the format." -- Meredith Hobbs Coons, AV Club

Alan Sepinwall breaks down ITYSL's comedy formula.

I Think You Should Leave streams in the US on Netflix.

Another enjoyable, ridiculous season.

Nothing that's come out since "The Night the Skeletons Came To Life" in season 1 has come close to those dizzying heights. Not just Robinson's show, I mean literally nothing that humanity has produced has reached or will ever reach that pinnacle of art.

I won't say all the sketches are predictable, but I am so used to Tim Robinson's rhythm now that when something mildly upsetting happens in the setup, and the camera pans to Robinson's face, and I feel this very specific anticipation unlike any comedy I've seen before.

I thought this season was pretty poor, and the last episode was really painful. Maybe “shirt brother” and a handful of others were worth keeping around. It just felt like it was imitating past seasons to me and coming out as a pale copy.
