Despite being locked in prison, Aaravos is powerful enough to influence the world with his schemes. Aided by a map, Claudia, Terry, and Viren are trying to find the prison in order to release Aaravos, while our heroes race to stop them before it's too late.

Did not expect the Twin Peaks reference in E2. That was, like, 30 years ago. (Although, the episode did start with the invention of "doughy-o's", so it was a theme, I guess?)

Yeah, the Twin Peaks sequence was... surprising. I kind of dug it, though.

The season as a whole, I didn't think was one of the best. The middle part felt like it was spinning its wheels, filling time with sidequests that depended on various characters getting the idiot ball. There was a while when I was finding politics in the Sunfire Elf Kingdom the most interesting part.

The show picked up a lot in the final two episodes, however.

I'm also sure there was a Mad Men reference with the falling silhouette. (Vs Viren Falling)

Anyone notice any other references?

Anyway, I love this show. Can't wait for more. I need a Bait, please.

Viren's dream was really good - I got the Twin Peaks reference right away despite the fact that I've never seen the show.

The fire / weird exotic bird appearing with the Harrow scene reminded me of HP and the fire in the Common Rooms, but I'm not certain.

Plenty of previous Sailor Moon transformation references in prior seasons.

Usually I wait to finish a season in case i spot spoilers here, but in 5x06 someone is selling self-stealing stem bolts, a DS9 reference.
