November 15, 2023 12:20 PM - Season 2 (Full Season) - Subscribe

When the world locks into a time loop in which the world ends every three weeks, the Lazarus team must race against time to find a solution before humanity is wiped out forever. Among their number is resolute Lazarus agent, George (Paapa Essiedu), who’s been left in disgrace after betraying the organisation in the name of love.

George is determined to redeem himself and win back the trust of his friends, colleagues, and the love of his life. But when he discovers that the cause he’s fighting is more sinister than it appears, George begins to suspect that the only person he can really trust is himself.

Available on Sky Max, coming eventually to TNT.

Is it the fall TV season already? Opening up another full season post, although I'm not clear if this is getting weekly releases or binge dropped, information is fuzzy. And god only knows when TNT will release it on this side of the pond.

Justwatch says it's on TNT now, and TNT's site let me cue up the first episode for free. [edit to add U.S. folks need a cable package to watch the rest.]

I had this show up on my list without a memory of the first season. Had to read wikipedia summary of each episode, but am looking forward to this again. Time shenanigans are always entertaining (bring back Travelers!).

Man, the recap of the first season was completely insane. The second season seems like it's getting off to a good start, too. I don't think they can quite pull off the same amount of timey wimey story telling shenanigans since it seems like a much more linear story this time, but I'm excited to see where it ends up.

The second season will be on TNT in the states, but not for a while. Only season one has aired here and not that long ago. It'll be a wait before it shows up here in the US, unless they've changed their scheduling and are bringing it over earlier.

Last year, I heard about the show and because it's my jam, didn't want to wait until it showed up in the US, and so I watched it via other means. I'm tempted again.

Yeah, I think Justwatch is showing the first season on TNT, when I click through to the second season there's nothing there yet. Which is weird, you'd think it would show the Sky streaming, but maybe they're doing enough geolocation to know that doesn't apply, or it's a US-centric site?

Second season has dropped in it's entirety in Australia, so if it hasn't in North America that feels very weird and backwards and entirely appropriate.

I was very excited to see The Lazarus Project pop up again and I am so here for whatever it brings. Even if the writing doesn't always land I love that the plot is at full throttle, yet finds time to explore the sometimes absurd, sometimes heartbreaking implications of the premise.

First episode is bonkers at the very least. Have to wait for my viewing partner to wake up to continue.

I just binged through the whole series (it's available to watch, ah, for the resourceful) and I enjoyed season 2. They are definitely going deep into timey-wimey territory, and I'm here for it, but I appreciate that all the time-travel stuff is explicitly tied to character beats.

Yeah, I think the 2nd season kiiiiiind of got a little confused about motivations, and had a few moments where a paradox was set up and whammo the consequences of that paradox were nullified _anyway_ (i.e. no siblings mysteriously fading away for of time shenanigans), but it was still a fun ride, and I really liked Charly Clive's increased presence?

I like that they clearly pinched Timecop's sled.
