Jessica comes to the assistance of Thomas Magnum (P.I.) when he's framed for two murders that occur during her vacation in Hawaii (second part of a two-show cross-over).

The first episode was Magnum, P.I. "Novel Connection," where Magnum investigates an attempt on the life of Higgins and several guests.

To be honest, I was rather confused about who was who at first, despite the few minutes of recap. Even at the end, I'm not sure who Ms. Busybody, Pamela Bates, was in relation to anyone.

It was an odd crossover. Not one of my faves. I liked both shows, but it didn't thrill me...

filthy light thief: Magnum P.I. is also on Netflix. The first time I came across this one, I ended up digging that one up and watching it first. I don't remember that it really made much difference, but thats in hindsight of the rest of the season.
