the first ep of this show really left me cold but I'm warming up. 3rd ep even more so, so I'll def keep watching. its very arch and affected but I get that the style, and its hitting some humorous notes.

I know Elena is really not == Putin but some nice digs at him. and some interesting Rasputin-ish vibes ala Zubak.

Senator Holt, in case you hadn't caught it, was played by Martha Plimpton, the teen actress from The Goonies.
