British stockbroker Nicholas 'Nickie' Winton visits Czechoslovakia in the 1930s and forms plans to assist in the rescue of Jewish children before the onset of World War II, in an operation that came to be known as the Kindertransport.

This is a really sweet film about one person (and his mother) who just went on to gather information and push it through the bureaucracy, saving over six hundred children from the death camps. At a screening, I spoke to one of the "children" who was 3 years old when she was sent to England and it sounds like this film is quite accurate. Well except for one small detail, she critiqued the scarf Lady Milena Grenfell-Baines wore in the film, she felt the real one was much prettier as had been a gift from her to her sister.

Also many of the audience extras were actually children and grandchildren of the kinderchildren.

How are people watching this when the release date worldwide is December 20th? Is there some legal way to do it that I don't know about?

seasparrow - the December release date is in 2023, and its US release was March 15, 2024.
