I called it!! And I hate to say it but a beard suits Rampart. Still no word on Gonky but we live in hope.

There’s only 4 episodes left so we need to get moving with the plot. It didn’t feel like we accomplished much in that respect this episode though there were good action sequences.

The vehicles and base felt a lot like the ones in that Mandalorian episode (S2E7)

100%. I wouldn't be surprised if they served as models in some capacity for the animation.

I was leaning into the idea that maybe Asajj would come in as the source for the location of Tantiss, so that's out the window. I'm still in the idea she'll show up again one more time, but now not necessarily as at least the lead up team to attack the facility. Though, it's hard to believe with anything but the most covert mission could the Batch get in and get out with Omega (and friends).

While it didn't seem like much was accomplished, this episode was 100% necessary to bridge that gap of "how do we get to Tantiss?" which is necessary for the rescue of Omega. They can't have Omega rescue herself again, though it seems Omega is starting to work her charms on Emerie (sp?) more so. So we establish the path to Tantiss and we start knocking over the dominos inside the facility.

I have a feeling the final episode will probably be double sized, since it's a series finale, but I could be wrong. But most likely, the next two episodes will be entirely about prepping everything for that finale episode, so we'll see a lot of pieces being moved around on the board.

The animation in this show continues to be exemplary. Yeesh! Rampart with a beard is still annoying.

Rampart was was a fun opportunity for snark, but I can sure see why Crosshair didn't bother mentioning him before. It seems to me that either multiple people should have had the same idea, or no-one should have. The Batch knew Crosshair - meaning Rampart - had removed Nala Se from Kamino, Omega - and therefore the Batch - knew Nala Se was at Tantiss, and they all saw Rampart get fired and arrested. Crosshair was on Kamino when Rampart delivered Nala Se to Tantiss and apparently didn't talk with Nala Se there, so that was a shot in the dark.

Crosshair's real contribution was knowing which labor camp Rampart got shipped to half a year ago - I can see how that didn't come up in his very minimal debriefings. Also seems wild to me to expect that an admiral would remember coordinates of anything, ever.

And Hemlock... just gave Omega her very own squad of baby jedi, didn't he. Just handed them right to her. Bless his heart.

...Do giant tanks count as megafauna?

And it's pretty enjoyable for what it is, too!
