A year in the life of a unique family.

Full disclosure - I am the poster but I have not seen this. However, the fact that this even got made is fascinating me greatly and I'm dying to hear what others who've seen it think.

(.....Did I mention this is a live-action film about a family of Sasquatches, with the entire cast of four in hairy suits the whole time?)

I saw it at SXSW and many, many in the audience walked out. No dialogue, just grunts. Waste of time.

It looks like it might be fun, but given how little I cared for Damsel (which I don't think I made it fifteen minutes into), I would need some positive word of mouth from nerds here or on other places I track movies to give this a shot. They have made some other stuff I haven't seen that is supposed to be good, though.

Someone I know saw it last week and says that while it felt like kind of a "what the fuck am I watching right now" waste of time while she was watching it, with a few gross-out moments, she's kept thinking about it since and is recommending it to friends mostly to see what they think.

The Zellners seem to have a Sasquatch thing - they have an early short film Sasquatch Birth Journal 2, it's on Vimeo.
