Top Chef: The Good Land

Kristen is joined by judges Tom and Gail for this week’s Quickfire Challenge as the chefs are tasked to create dishes featuring cranberries in a unique way. The chefs are then treated to a special meal prepared by celebrated Indigenous chefs and guest judges Sean Sherman and Elean Terry. For the Elimination Challenge, the chefs must prepare modern dishes using only indigenous ingredients.

This was a great challenge. Loved the attention to both traditional Indigenous ingredients and contemporary Indigenous chefs.

Savannah prepped like Buddha!

I watched some of Kristen co-hosting Iron Chef on Netflix. Her wardrobe got a huge glow-up on the move to Top Chef, someone on the Bravo show really understands her style.

Good to see both women survive LCK, great venue for a mise en place race!

I love the correction from gnocchi to dumpling. There's a lot in a name, it really does set expectations. You see folks get dinged for this both here and in Chopped, glad he got to correct.

Really glad they got a chance to eat an Indigenous meal before being thrown into the challenge.
