If you've ever watched a Dario Argento film and thought "Wow, I wish this were less restrained/more gonzo," then this might be for you. If you're repelled by Argento or Saw or dreamlike plots or trauma to the eye then this is absolutely not for you.

Yeah this film would have been loads better if it made the slightest bit of sense. Style, goo and dream logic will only carry you so far, son.

That said, I still kinda like it.

Watched this a month or so back, and it absolutely slaps, as long as narrative cohesion isn't your priority.

Yeah I disagree. Fulci isn't that kind of director. His films aren't conventional - he's a director wrestling with his misanthropy. His films, overwhelmingly, aren't about logic either dream or otherwise and the best of his films eschew all narrative cohesion. He's all about the horror of being human, in all its repellent grossness.
