Watched the whole thing live at a sports bar with friends:

Bold choice to begin with Ospreay beating Strong, because what a hard act to follow. I had expected that Strong would attempt a lot of mat-based technical work, but instead he was the striker and brawler of the two while Ospreay stayed mobile and made the most out of "aerial assassin" mode. I knew eventually there'd be heel interference, expected-slash-hoped that we'd get a returning Adam Cole in the match itself, rather than a post-match promo.

But that's OK, because we got a seriously lean MJF, costumed as HHH returning after an 8-month injury in 2002 -- this man knows ALL the visual references of his profession. Apparently Tony Khan won "the bidding war of 2024"!

Every year Anarchy in the Arena is super-dumb and also super-fun. It’s like all year long every time someone comes up with a dumb idea they put it on a list and then they get them all out at once.

Darby had mentioned on Twitter months ago that he was talking to stunt people about how to safely do a fire spot. I just had assumed it would be him getting set on fire!

Apparently Copeland injured himself which, yeah, how could he not with that landing?
