Not a fan of that Guardian review that centers on Downey and doesn't mention the actor playing the main character, Hoa Xuande, until the second paragraph, and whose performance was more demanding and more powerful, which smacks of the same problems embodied by all of Downy's characters simultaneously. It's not fucking about him.

100%, Hoa Xuande was fantastic and I can’t believe this was his first lead role.
