[TRAILER] Aussie buds Denise and Johnny agree to a sketchy job to pay off a debt to their drug dealer. They break into a decrepit stash house to steal a bag of mysterious drugs, finding out when they sample them that these drugs cause a person to time travel.

I watched this because you posted it and it was pretty good. Not quite what I expected. It starts out funny and a little dangerous, and then morphs into a surprisingly compelling drama about generational trauma. I was truly not expecting that. I'm not sure I quite get what happens with Denise at the end, though. She and Old Kane go from the present to... the future? And...? Medium-aged Kane and Tracey just chill in 1995, and I feel like Johnny got all the closure.

I think we are exactly on the same page. I didn't track the ending either, at least as far as Kane/Denise.
