A young girl lives in the Outer Hebrides in a small village in the years just before WWI. Isolated and hard by the shore, her life takes a dramatic change when a terrible tragedy befalls her.

I watched this on Hoopla last night in an attempt to distract myself from US election anxiety, and fam, it did not work at all (I really should have chosen a romcom, which this is very much not.) I loved the scenery and the claustrophobic feel of the town, though.
