I still can't decide if Farrell's performance is amazingly powerful or ridiculously over-the-top. Maybe it's both, and that's why it works. There's an almost Cage-like quality to it. Some how he manages to squeeze the "oi" dipthong (as in, "toin on the TV, I wanna watch Moidah She Wrote") into seemingly every other word.

Interesting parallel between Oz and Sofia's appeals to the gang leaders in this and the previous episode. Sofia promised to pay them what they deserve, but Oz drank a brew with them. Sofia talked about changing her name from Falcone to Gigante, but Oz pointed out that the higher ups didn't even know the names of the people that do all their dirty work.

Popping the tops of the beer cans as the metaphorical casting in of their lots with Oz was a great moment.
